The Main Event

Promptly at 7pm the evenings entertainment will begin in the main hall.
Journey with The White Rabbit, Alice and the rest of Wonderland as the Mad Hatter plots to steal the crown and the Queen looks to find a new husband.

Guests will be guided by various characters into immersive break out rooms as the madness unfolds around them with regular intervals for rest, refreshments and exploring.

Live Band - Silver Tongue

After the Queen’s court is adjourned and balance is restored to Wonderland the party will commence with two sets from Shropshire’s critically acclaimed indie-rock five piece - Silver Tongue.

The Kit-Cat Cabaret

Our VIP Guests can enjoy a further 60 minutes of live entertainment in the Cheshire Cat’s infamous nightclub - the Kit-Cat club after the main entertainment in the house concludes.


Afterparty

Once our Cabaret entertainment reaches its conclusion, guests are invited back to the Manor House to enjoy more drinks, canapés and dancing until carriages at 1:30am.

Festive Street Food & Open House (From 5:00 PM)

Explore the beautifully decorated Berwick House at your leisure from 5:00 PM. As you wander through the grand rooms and halls, experience the holiday spirit come alive with festive décor and twinkling lights. In our courtyard, indulge in a variety of gourmet street food, with stalls offering seasonal treats, warming drinks, and delicious dishes—perfect for a winter’s evening. Enjoy at your own pace while you take in the surroundings and prepare for the evening’s main event.

House Tours Throughout the Evening

Guided tours of Berwick House will be available for those who want to learn more about the history and grandeur of our stately home. Stroll through the halls and rooms while learning about its fascinating past, all dressed for the festive season.

Candlelit Walk to the Chapel (6:45 PM)

As dusk falls, gather with us for a serene, candlelit walk from the house to the Berwick House Chapel. The path will be softly illuminated, creating an enchanting atmosphere as you head toward the historic chapel for the carol service.

Carol Service in the Chapel (7:00 PM)

Arriving at the chapel, the evening reaches its peak with a Christmas Carol Service led by the renowned Welsh Male Voice Choir. Let their powerful and moving voices fill the chapel with traditional carols and songs of the season, creating a heartwarming and unforgettable Christmas moment.

Overnight Stay & Wedding Tours

Our Christmas Candlelit Soiree is an excellent opportunity to experience Berwick ahead of your wedding. We are pleased to welcome guests to our debut, fully immersive event at the illustrious Berwick House in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Upon arrival guests will be wowed by the breathtaking views of the house and gardens before entering the manor to indulge in the evenings programme.
